Strong Women are Stronger Together series - Jill Johnson Edition

As my 6th installment of this blog series, I find it pretty crazy that I haven’t talked about Jill Johnson yet because she is one of my favorite people on this planet. Jill is a Life Coach and owner of Jillian J Coaching. She spent 8 months in the Martha Beck Wayfinder Life Coach Training, beginning in 2013, and went on another year to get certified in 2015. She is also an RYT 500 yoga instructor and blends yogic philosophy with her coaching for a holistic approach to help clients move forward in their lives. Additionally, she’s had over 100 hours of Enneagram training with Russ Hudson of the Enneagram Institute in Stoneridge, NY and she’s continuously learning new ways to help clients with the issues that hold them back from trusting themselves and thriving.

I first met Jill as a yoga instructor and she quickly became one of my favorites. It wasn’t long before I became a coaching client of her’s. I was a bit skeptical of the coaching process but I went on to have three life-changing sessions with her! She has a very thoughtful and intuitive way of getting you to realize that most of your thoughts are just excuses that are holding you back from executing your goals.

Jill is incredibly easy to connect with and we quickly realized we had a lot in common. Our friendship has grown exponentially over the last year and we recently went on a weekend getaway together. I’m lucky that I get to spend a lot of time with her. She’s consistently open and vulnerable, making it easy for me to share even the most difficult of stressors with her. She always wants the best for me (even if it’s just for the server to get my order right.;)) She is hilarious and has a knack for making me laugh until I am blue in the face. I value her opinion and often seek her advice; I can’t imagine my life without her friendship.

If money were no object, what would you spend most of your time doing?

Jill: I would probably travel more often to warm, beautiful places with beaches and palm trees! I have to say that I do spend the majority of my time now doing things that I love - coaching, teaching yoga, organizing and taking care of my home and cats :)

What inspires you?

Jill: I feel most inspired when my coaching clients are excited about finding freedom in their lives and schedules. When I’m teaching yoga, I get inspired when students are breathing together, having a good time and are comfortable in their bodies.

If your life isn’t working and feels chaotic, Jill can help you find a more authentic way to live based on your personality and insights from your past. She offers an Insightful Action program that incorporates results from the Enneagram personality test along with a thought and belief management system that is sure to give you a new perspective on life. I also have a passion for organizational coaching in all areas whether it’s your thoughts, schedule or your actual belongings! If you're considering coaching, I would encourage you to take the leap and would highly recommend Jill. She is simply the best.
