Meet Lauren Zulli.

The owner of HOLOS Coaching & Consulting, Lauren is passionate about empowering personal and professional growth that is holistic and purpose-driven. Lauren is a Certified Professional Coach and a Master Practitioner of the Energy Leadership Index through the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching. She spent 7 years in the health and wellness industry as a yoga instructor and wellness coach and a decade in sustainable design before blending her interests and expertise together to form her coaching practice. Today, Lauren works with her clients to integrate personal sustainability, mindfulness and whole-being embodiment so they can live and lead authentically and powerfully. She believes that by de-cluttering from the internal and external noise that holds us back, we can lean into our own truth and take action to move us forward with confidence and clarity.

I first met Lauren through a program where I committed to practicing yoga daily. Lauren was my mentor my first year in the program. My first impression was that she was one of the smartest people that I have ever met, she looked like she could kick my ass (seriously, the muscles in her arms were huge) but she was so warm and kind. She has an amazing laugh and a very empathetic personality. She is someone that stands firm in her values and approaches every situation by always seeing the big picture. She sees how everything is connected and pushes people to tap into their uniqueness.

I hosted my first retreat with Lauren and I’m so grateful for that experience. Not only was her encouragement a brilliant light but I learned a great deal from her in that short period of time. She is quick to give praise and has an incredible way of coaching you through your insecurities. She helps you to see your own mental blocks and move past them.

Lauren was by my side in the very early stages of starting Wandering Roots and I leaned on her heavily. I have greatly benefited from her coaching but am even more grateful to have her as a friend. She’s one of my favorite people to bounce ideas off or turn to with my insecurities because she always helps me see things with a clearer perspective.

If money were no object, what would you spend most of your time doing?

Lauren: I would continue to travel the world and find a way to make travel more accessible to everyone. I was gifted the experience of travel at a young age and allowed my wanderlust to evolve over the years, taking me to amazing places. I believe that experiencing and exploring different landscapes, cultures, and ways of living helps us to expand our perspective, develop empathy, and create new ways of being. Making travel more accessible would give us the ability to meet our global sisters and brothers, connect on deeper levels, and find ways to collectively solve some of the most pressing issues we face as humanity.

What inspires you?

Lauren: Creation and natural life. I often find myself around town, paused mid-walk in awe over how everything was created AND what we have created. From the Big Bang to a single cell organism to the complex system of the human body. We have infinite potential to create. All we need to do is believe, trust ourselves, experiment, and allow for growth.
